About Us
The Scarborough Outrigger Canoe Club was founded in 2015 and is closely affiliated with the Redcliffe Dragon Boat Club. As a relatively new organisation we have a vision to build our Club into one of the top competitive clubs in not only Queensland but Australia. We are based at Talobilla Park, Kippa-Ring and welcome members from 8 years of age up who want to join a sport which provides fun, fitness, friendship and frivolity! No previous experience is required!
New members first three sessions are FREE and we supply all the equipment necessary. Check out the Membership page for Fee information.
We partake in the Moreton Bay Regional Council Adventure Programs and members can sign up to get notifications and book online when the events are open. View available events here.
Our Club’s ethos is to be an inclusive club, to help and support each other knowing that each member is valuable and each member has something that will be of value to both the Club and other members.
Our intention is to build our racing abilities and eventually be one of the top Outrigger Clubs in the country. By providing members with the facilities, training, knowledge and contacts we will be competitive in racing. We attend Local and Overseas Regattas.
